Åbo Akademi University

Åbo Akademi University, also known as Åbo Akademi, is a public educational institution located in Turku, Finland. It was founded in 1918 and operates in the industries of education, higher education, and as a university. The university is an instance of an organization and an educational institute.

Åbo Akademi University is accredited by the Ministry of Education and Culture, Finland and has a subsidiary, the Turku Centre for Computer Science. It is affiliated with the Coimbra Group and the European University Association.
