Andrey Sergeyevich Arshavin (born May 29, 1981, Leningrad) is a Russian football player, former captain of the Russian national team, Honored Master of Sports of Russia (2008). He played as an attacking midfielder, second striker, playmaker. Under coach Guus Hiddink, he was one of the main players of the Russian national team.
