Anita Baker

Anita Baker, born on January 26, 1958, is an American singer, songwriter, actor, and record producer. Baker was born as Anita Denise Baker in Toledo, Ohio, and holds US citizenship. She attended Central High School in Detroit.

Over the course of her career in the music industry, Baker has worked in various genres such as jazz, soul jazz, hip hop, and soul music. In addition to singing, she is also involved in other aspects of the music-making process as a composer, musician, and singer-songwriter.

Anita Baker has received multiple Grammy Awards, including a Grammy Award for Best R&B Song.
