Automat (company)

Automat is a company that provides marketing for brands through artificial intelligence. The company was founded in 2016 by Andy Mauro, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

The company has developed a platform that is a conversational marketing artificial intelligence platform. Automat has seventeen different patents in the fields of speech recognition and natural language understanding, virtual assistants and artificial intelligence. Their platform has taken part in billions of customer interactions.

In February, 2019, Automat announced an integration with AdLingo, which is an incubator project for Google. The integration made Automat a part of Google's experimental project incubator, Area 120, allowing them to advertise on over one billion websites. The platform acts as a two-way conversation to drive brand engagement without removing the user from the webpage they're on. Automat aims to enable companies and brands to employ expansive customer support and services, allowing the to grow competitive advantages with digital advertising.
