Until the early 90's Mariupol Metallurgical Institute approached with a high material base and highly qualified scientific and pedagogical potential.
In 1993, the university received a new status - the status of a university. Now the former metallurgical institute is called Priazovsky State Technical University.At present, a number of scientific schools operate successfully at the PDTU, the development of which is widely recognized in Ukraine and abroad.
