The BMW M5 CS is a high-performance version of the BMW M5, which is the high-performance version of the BMW 5 Series sedan. The M5 CS is the latest addition to BMW's CS (Club Sport) lineup, which features track-focused, high-performance variants of its standard models.
The BMW M5 CS is powered by a 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine that produces 627 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque. This engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel-drive system, which allows the M5 CS to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.9 seconds. The top speed of the M5 CS is electronically limited to 190 mph.
In addition to its powerful engine, the M5 CS features a number of performance-enhancing features, including a lightweight carbon-fiber hood, roof, front splitter, rear diffuser, and spoiler. The car's suspension has been tuned for improved handling, and it sits on lightweight 20-inch wheels wrapped in high-performance tires.
