The DOI Foundation is made up of 5 very important bodies of governance in order to distribute power while simultaneously allowing for the rapid adaptability and scale that is impossible without the use of a Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO).

Those branches are the DOI Guardians, DOI Impact Committee, DOI Ethics Committee, DOI Efficacy Committee, and the DOI Custodians.
