Grandson of the "Presidentissimo" Renzo Barbera (his grandmother was the sister of the "Gattopardo rosanero"), he is a fan of Palermo. The first match he remembers seeing at the stadium was Palermo-Brindisi on November 4, 1973, when he was only four years old.
