David W. Checketts (born 1956) is an American businessman. Checketts is the founder and chairman of SCP Worldwide. He also sits on the board of JetBlue Airways and was the founder of American soccer club Real Salt Lake who served as the club owner from the team's inception until the end of the 2013 MLS Season when he sold the team to businessman Dell Loy Hansen. He was the CEO of Legends Hospitality, which operates One World Observatory.
