Delimobil is a Russian project for short-term car rental with per-minute payment, launched in September 2015 in Moscow. The service belongs to the category of car sharing, that is, car sharing. Delimobil is owned by Carsharing Russia LLC, part of General Invest Holding. To date, cars of this service can be rented in 11 cities of Russia, including Moscow, St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod and others.
The Delimobil carsharing service is mainly used by people aged 25 to 35 years. 90% of users have a higher education. 80% of clients are men. The client base of Delimobil, according to the company's own estimates, exceeds 130 thousand people.
Initially, the service's fleet consisted of 100 Hyundai Solaris cars of domestic assembly, and by December 2016 it had grown to 1.6 thousand units (100 of them accounted for St. Petersburg).
Investments in the project by the end of 2016 amounted to 1 billion rubles. The service is being developed by Italian businessman Vincenzo Trani. As of December 1, 2016, the number of registered customers exceeded 160 thousand.
In 2020, amid significantly increased online shopping, Delimobil launched a new b2b service, offering its partners their cars with drivers for the delivery of goods.
As of September 2020, the company's fleet amounted to 15 thousand cars. The number of users of the service is more than 5 million, and the number of rentals per day has exceeded 80 thousand.
In 2021, eco-friendly carsharing machines appeared in pilot mode in Nizhny Novgorod: part of the company's fleet will be converted to biofuels. To do this, 150 cars will be equipped with eco-friendly equipment and modified engines powered by natural gas methane. The project was implemented in partnership with Gazprom Gazomotornoe Fuel.
In November 2021, the world's first IPO of a car-sharing company, Delimobil Holding S.A., was delayed on the New York Stock Exchange due to negotiations with "additional" investors. The company has also filed for an IPO on the Moscow Stock Exchange
