Childhood
Eduard Valentinovich Troyanovsky was born on May 30, 1980 in Russia – in the city of Omsk. Before his appearance, the family already had two daughters born in different cities. The fact is that in his work, my father investigated serious serious accidents. Therefore, the family constantly traveled to different cities. Later, the family decided to change their lifestyle. And it was decided to move to a city with a milder climate. A random choice fell on the city of Eagle. After Edward, two more children were born in the Troyanovsky family – a son and a daughter.Unfortunately, my father passed away very early. There are five children left on Mom's shoulders. Therefore, life was not rich. Sometimes the children even collected and handed over bottles to buy themselves some sweets. And on the street, the boy had to defend himself and his sisters himself. In the absence of gadgets, Eduard spent a lot of time in the yard and often fought. Including with guys older than themselves. And in the fifth grade, he signed up for the weightlifting section himself. And closer to the age of sixteen, the young man switched to boxing. The first coach Vladimir Redin promised to teach the guys to fight properly. And not as savages - district to district – as was common then. During the year, many guys left the boxing section. Edward was left alone. And he would have continued his studies, but he needed money to buy uniforms and various competitions, which there was nowhere to take. Plus, he lost his first competitions. And I often wondered if it was his. As a result, the young man quit boxing. As well as karate, in which he won several competitions at that time. But not for long. After entering the Railway School in 1997, Eduard came to his coach again. A year later, the young man received a summons to the army. Then Redin decided to help his ward and, through his connections, arranged for the recruit to remain in the Eagle so that he could continue training. Troyanovsky got into the air defense – he was a signalman. However, it was not possible to leave the military unit often, so periodic training did not work out. In 2001, the young man returned from the army and went straight to the boxing gym. To stay in it forever now.Now Eduard talks about serving in the army as a necessity for every man. There he had no opportunity to train – but for two years of service he received a good lesson in discipline. That in the future played a big role in the formation of an athlete.
Amateur career
The coach, seeing that Eduard likes to fight, insisted on getting him a Master of Sports. And after a while – in 2006 - Troyanovsky passed all the standards. Despite the fact that he took up boxing late for the sport. And after the army, he did not even have the first rank – his peers have long advanced. And the young man made up for everything and caught up with everyone. Although at that time I did not imagine that I would ever become a famous athlete. He just participated in amateur fights. But the need to enter the ring did not decrease. And for the young man it was already closer to art than to a street fight. He was grateful to Redin for not letting him quit boxing. In 2005, Troyanovsky began to try his hand at kickboxing. Possessing discipline and an iron will, he quickly achieved excellent results in this sport. After feeling the taste of victory once, it is impossible to stop and forget it. In 2007, the young man received a Master of Sports in kickboxing. And by 2009, Eduard had already become the champion of Russia and the Central Federal District. And also the champion of Europe and the CIS. At the World Championship, the young boxer won bronze medals twice and silver once. In 2011, Eduard was recognized as the best athlete in his Oryol region. Having felt his strength, Troyanovsky won victory after victory. But Redin taught me not to stop. It was necessary to grow – and go from the amateur level to the professional one.
Professional career
To do this, the athlete went to Germany. At the end of 2009, Eduard had his first professional fight with the German Zwarg, beating him by the number of points scored. And after these seven more fights and seven victories. And in the eighth fight – in 2010 - Troyanovsky won the title of European Champion - in WBO, which at that time was vacant. It would seem that the career took place. Eduard received a belt and a status. But then the tricks of the boxer's manager were revealed, who simply kept most of Edward's fee for himself. It turned out that the athlete's "salary" does not correspond to the salary of the World Champion in any way. The conflict with the manager led to the fact that the proud Troyanovsky did not want to cooperate with the manager and threatened him that he would leave. Not believing the boxer, the manager did not go for an honest relationship and perceived the boxer's threats as a bluff. But Eduard did not continue to talk and still left for Moscow. Left without an intermediary, he did not enter the ring for quite a long time for a boxer – for two whole years. Therefore, the belt of the World Champion had to be given without a fight. In Russia, the boxer came to Bryansk. Despite the fact that his hometown is Orel, he later played for Bryansk.Only in 2012, Eduard managed to find a new promoter – Vladimir Hryunov - and sign a contract with him. Of course, the break did not affect my career very well. But Hryunov believed in Troyanovsky and loaded him with various fights and sparring. However, their cooperation, due to misunderstanding and for a number of reasons, was also not fruitful and long. Although Eduard managed to regain his form. And after a while, the boxer signs a contract with a new promoter – Andrey Ryabinsky. And Troyanovsky began to win again! In April 2012, he won a fight against Russian Kruglik. And already in June, Laserda won. Moreover, in the ninth round, Eduard was knocked down. The audience was buzzing, everything was floating before my eyes. But the boxer was able to stand up. And in the next round, having gathered his strength, he sent his opponent to a knockout. It was powerful! After that, the president of the Professional Boxing Federation came to the locker room and praised Eduard, noting how important it was to get up and continue the fight after the fall. Troyanovsky will remember these words many more times.
In September 2012, a fight with Joseph Minosa took place, which brought the Russian the title of RAV Champion, which was vacant at that time. In December 2012, in March and in May 2013, he successfully defended this title, defeating Estrada, Padilla and Luis Zambrano in turn. After that, Edward won several more victories. The fight with Arbil was constantly postponed due to injuries of both athletes. As a result, Alfaro became the opponent. The fight took place in October 2014 in Moscow. The win brought Troyanovsky the title of International WBA Champion! In April 2015, a new IBO champion title was added to the Russian boxer's piggy bank after defeating Shakhnazaryan.
And in November 2015, Eduard had the opportunity to fight for the IBF title – in a duel with Rene Cuenca. The Russian confidently led the first few rounds. In the sixth round, the overturned opponent, feeling weaker, tried to bring Troyanovsky's actions under disqualification, explaining this by using prohibited techniques. The fight was carefully studied by experts who found nothing "wrong" in the actions of the Russian boxer. On this basis, the victory was definitely given to Troyanovsky. The IBF champion title was successfully won!!! Representatives of Cuenca did not agree with such results and started talking about a repeat match. In April 2016, a rematch took place between Eduard and Rene. The Russian practically repeated his feat, beating his opponent in the seventh round. And at the same time defending all their titles. In the following fights - in September and December 2016 - all titles were defended again. Moreover, the fight with Obama surprised all the fans. No one expected such a quick victory. There was a feeling that the Russian simply beat the opponent. Then the fight had to be stopped and the victory from a technical knockout was recognized. Troyanovsky won fight after fight! In December 2016, this series of victories was suddenly interrupted – Troyanovsky suffered the first defeat in his professional career. Opponent Julios Indongo knocked out the Russian almost in the first minutes of the fight. No one expected this. No one doubted Edward's victory, Indongo was little known. But the fact remains that Troyanovsky has lost all his titles!Later, in an interview, Troyanovsky admitted that he was to blame for the loss – he missed a serious blow from the opponent. Yes, it was a shame. But he remembered the words about the need to stand up and continue fighting when losing all his life! And he understood that it was also necessary to benefit from defeat. After all, losing can motivate no worse than winning. Of course, Troyanovsky's representatives began to ask Indongo for revenge. But they were refused. Edward decided to return to this issue later. In the meantime, I had to go back and continue! And the return turned out to be triumphant! In 2017, as if having received a surge of strength, Troyanovsky won two fights in a row by technical knockout. And in October 2018, he lost again. This time to Kirill Relikh. And with a very minimal margin on points. But still. It was not possible to win the WBA title again. After such an unfortunate defeat, some started talking about the end of a boxer's career. There were opinions that Eduard needs to change his fighting style in order to become the best again.
In November 2019, the Russian's duel with the Czech Zagradnik took place. The result was the victory of Edward and the conquest of the vacant title of Champion of Eurasia.
Personal life
Today Eduard Troyanovsky is a deputy in his native Orel. And it was in the district where his own childhood was spent. The boxer claims that he worries about his city and is interested in working for the benefit of its residents. And for himself, he considers Orel the best city in the world.Paradoxically, Eduard's nickname in the ring is also "Eagle". Moreover, this is not connected with the city at all. And with an unusual fighting technique, when he stands over the enemy and looks down on him - like an eagle. The second nickname – Troy – was given by the fans. In addition, it turned out that the long surname of the boxer does not fit on the belt. And therefore it was very successfully shortened.
Troyanovsky is in great physical shape today! He trains a lot and leads a healthy lifestyle. He tries to eat right, completely excluding fast food and soda. And alcohol is completely absent from his life. Despite the age of forty, the boxer is full of energy and in no hurry to finish his career. Waiting for the offer of new fights.
The athlete is married, he has a son. He is a very good family man. And he likes to spend his free time from boxing and politics with his family.
