François Rabelais

François Rabelais was a French writer, physician writer, novelist, and monk who was born in Chinon and died in Paris. Rabelais held citizenship in France and was educated at the University of Montpellier and the University of Poitiers. He is known for his notable work, "Gargantua and Pantagruel", and used various pseudonyms such as Alcofribas Nasier, Seraphin Calobarsy, M. Alcofribas, and Maistre Alcofribas Nasier.
