Frank O'Hara was a poet, playwright, writer, journalist, and curator born on March 27, 1926, in Baltimore. He had United States citizenship and held multiple occupations throughout his career. He was educated at several institutions, including Harvard University, the University of Michigan, and St. John's High School in Massachusetts. O'Hara was known primarily for his poetry, with one of his notable works being "Lunch Poems". Frank O'Hara passed away on July 25, 1966, in Mastic Beach, New York.
