Greg Miaskiewicz is an entrepreneur known for being the co-founder and CEO of Capbase, and the co-founder and CEO of Swarm Enterprises.
In 2004 Greg Miaskiewicz attended Jagiellonian University to complete a language proficiency certification in Polish. During this time he performed research and field work related to an honors history thesis about Jewish-Christian relations during the Counter-Reformation period in Poland.
From 2002 to 2006 Greg Miaskiewicz attended the University of Pittsburgh where he graduated Magna cum laude with a B.Phil degree in philosophy, a bachelors degree in Politics, Philosophy, and History with a minor in economics.
In 2016 Greg Miaskiewicz was accepted into Y Combinators Fellowship program for his startup company called Swarm, which made bot-detection software.
In September 2014 Greg Miaskiewicz co-founded Swarm Enterprises, a software company making security and fraud detection products. The company developed intellectual property related to botnet and bot browser detection, and in June 2016 Swarm Enterprises was acquired by Integral Ad Science.
In August 2018 Greg Miaskiewicz co-founded Capbase, a company offering services to help entrepreneurs start their companies.
From November 2007 to November 2008 Greg Miaskiewicz worked as a lead UI engineer for IAC in Boulder, Colorado. During this time he worked on design and development projects for IAC companies such as Green.com, Match, and Ask.com.
From November 2008 to March 2009 Greg Miaskiewics worked as an analyst for Primal Ventures where he performed technical and market research to support the venture capital operations of the firm.
From April 2010 to December 2013 Greg Miaskiewics worked as the lead product designer and information architect for MyLikes, and was part of the founding team. During his time with MyLikes Miaskiewics designed, developed, iterated, and scaled a social media advertising platform. He lead his team on product design, user experience, information architecture, and front-end development. He also created a pay-per-video self-served ad creation system for YouTube advertising, worked on mobile strategy and UI development, and mentored junior developers working for the company.
From January 2014 to July 2014 Greg Miaskiewics worked as a senior product engineer for Nanigans. During this time Miaskiewics was responsible for being the technical lead for launching Nanigans mobile RTB product. He also would work briefly on projects for the company related to software architecture, automated UI testing, and product-wide user experience.
From May 2014 to July 2014 Greg Miaskiewicz completed a 3 month full-time contract with Soldsie where he worked as a consultant for product design and strategy. Miaskiewicz offered his consulting services to help Soldsie with their advertising strategy, conversation optimization, Instagram integration, and Pinterest integration.
From August 2014 to June 2016 Greg Miaskiewicz was the Director of Product for Zaarly. Miaskiewicz lead product efforts and worked on performance marketing, conversion optomization, SEO, business and web analytics, and product design.
From June 2016 to August 2018 Greg Miaskiewicz worked as a principal software engineer for Integral Ad Science. During this time Miaskiewicz lead research & development related to identifying non-human traffic in ad campaigns, wrote bot detection JS code, managed a team of engineers and researchers working on fraud product development, and represented Integral Ad Science in business development meetings, customer education sessions, and conferences.
In June 2017 Greg Miaskiewicz became an advisor for The Skincare Company; a company offering a subscription model for selling anti-aging skincare products.
In July 2019 Greg Miaskiewics began advising Mobius Acoustics; a company making loudspeaker and audio technologies.
