IQAir

IQAir Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that support disadvantaged and underserved communities, which are disproportionately affected by adverse environmental conditions. Busy freeway or highway interchanges or a bustling industrial district affect their surrounding communities. These areas and communities, often times suffer with higher rates of asthma and other resulting respiratory illnesses. Furthermore, children in these vulnerable communities suffer higher rates of related illnesses as a result of this environmental inequality.

The IQAir Foundation seeks to promote environmental justice by helping to improve access to air quality data, environmental literacy, and providing technology solutions to those unfairly affected by pollution as a result of socio-economic or racial factors. We step in when communities are unfairly affected by air pollution and environmental toxins, working in collaboration with environmental justice and community-based groups.
