Irvin Kershner

Irvin Kershner (1923-2010) was an American film director, producer, and actor born in Philadelphia. He held citizenship in the United States and was educated at the University of Southern California, USC School of Cinematic Arts, and Tyler School of Art. Kershner was best known for directing the film The Empire Strikes Back, and his occupations included being a film director, film producer, and actor. He passed away in Los Angeles on November 27, 2010.
