JSC HK "SDS-Coal" is an industry holding of the company "Siberian Business Union" - one of the largest diversified holdings in Russia. The company's area of responsibility includes: three cuts, two mines, three processing plants and a number of service enterprises with a total workforce of more than 8,000 people.

HC "SDS-Coal" is a partner of the international non-profit organization Bettercoal and the official supplier of coal for the Association of Coal Consumers. The integrated management system of JSC Holding Company "SDS-Ugol" complies with the requirements of three international standards: ISO 9001:2015 (quality management system), ISO 14001:2015 (environmental management system) and OHSAS 18001:2007 (occupational health and safety management system).
Over the thirteen years of its existence, the company has entered the list of leaders in terms of coal production in Russia and firmly holds its position in the list of the largest Russian exporters of coal products. Since 2017, JSC HC "SDS-Ugol" has been the single consignor of coal products.
In 2018, the company was the first in Russia to announce its intention to use the Clean Coal technology in all technological processes: from geological exploration to the use of coal by the end consumer.
