Khuraira Musa is a Nigerian American based international make-up artist, cosmetologist and philanthropist, the founder and CEO of Khuraira Cosmetics. She is an internationally renowned make-up entrepreneur and celebrity make-up artist, and has done make-up for several celebrities and top models which include Brandy, Mandy Moore, Paula Abdul, Kirstie Alley, Natalie Cole, Cher, Suzanne Douglas, Trista Rehn and Dr. Suzanne Rice.
Khuraira Musa was born in Lere Local government area of Kaduna state, Nigeria. She lost her mother at birth and as a result she grew up in an Orphanage in Rukuba/Bassa area in Plateau State, but later she moved back to Kaduna state and resided until she completed her secondary education.
In 1992 she went to a college in the United States and during that time she started working in cosmetics at department stores, where she started selling locally to regionally and later national and international customers. Khuraira's expertise made her started conducting trainings for make-up artist and make-up seminars for high end clientele in department stores in different countries, like Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Henri Bendel and Bergdorf Goodman in the United States, Holt Renfrew in Canada and Harvey Nichols in London.
