Biography

Kristina Orbakaite is a singer, theater and film actress. The first fame came to her as a child, when she starred in the film "Scarecrow". Now her filmography includes about three dozen films and musicals. Her repertoire includes over 150 compositions.

Kristina Orbakaite, by her example, proves the fallacy of the notorious reasoning about the children of geniuses, on whom nature supposedly rests. She became no less popular than her star mom, although she could live quietly, reaping the fruits of her labors. Kristina proved that she is talented and bright, successful and original. Thanks to her patience and incredible hard work, she has achieved everything she has now - popularity, the love of fans, the title of Honored Artist of the Russian Federation.

Childhood and youth

Kristina Edmundovna Orbakaite was born in Moscow on May 25, 1971, according to the zodiac sign Gemini. From a young age, she is surrounded only by creative people. Mother is the Prima Donna of the Russian stage Alla Pugacheva. The father of the future star was Mikolas Edmundas Orbakas, a circus worker and director, Lithuanian by nationality. Kristina spent her childhood in the village of Shvantoyi near the Baltic Sea. When she was 4 years old, her parents separated, but at the same time her father continued to participate in her daughter's life.

In Moscow, Orbakaite entered a special lyceum with a focus on learning English. In addition, the girl constantly studied vocals and played the piano, and after the first trip to the Bolshoi Theater, she asked Alla Borisovna to give her to the ballet. The admissions committee noted that Kristina has a natural plasticity, but ballet did not captivate the teenager, and a year later she left the dance school.

The skills acquired in ballet school still came in handy. In her youth, Orbakaite was a member of the dance group of the Recital collective. Choreographic training and external data (height 173 cm, weight 54 kg) help the singer even now. Every time she enters the stage, there is always a moment in which Kristina gracefully moves to the beat of the music, accompanied by the band "Limita Extreme". The team was created by her in 1995 and at first called "Scarecrow".

The aspiring artist received her higher education on the course of Vladimir Andreev at the Russian Academy of Theater Arts, in parallel she played on the Small Stage of the Moscow Art Theater. For her work in the entreprise "Monday after the Miracle" Orbakaite was awarded the award for best actress.
