Testing methodology was developed by authoritative experts in the field of human evaluation. Competition itself takes place in four stages. First stage - online registration and video interviews. At this stage, participants are given tasks in which they are evaluated, along with leadership qualities, their ability to negotiate and organize command work.

Compared with the first competition, in the 2018-2019 competition, the test program has been changed. In particular, in the online test for testing general knowledge, the requirements for tasks for general knowledge have decreased, but at the same time, the time of response was reduced in an online test - from one minute to 20 seconds.

The superfinal of the competition was postponed from March 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic and passed on September 6-7 in Solnechnogorsk.
