Developed in 1966-1967[5] by the design bureau of the Czechoslovak aircraft factory Let Kunovice (now the Czech factory Aircraft Industries). Designed for operation on unprepared unpaved, grassy, snowy areas, as well as on airfields with short runways. Able to carry up to 19 passengers or 1800 kg of cargo over a distance of up to 1500 km. It uses American GE H80-200 engines (GE Aviation Czech s.r.o), after certification of the Russian VK-800 turboprop engine (Ural Civil Aviation Plant JSC and UEC-Klimov JSC) is completed, it is planned to install it.
