Ludvík Svoboda

Ludvík Svoboda (25 November 1895 – 20 September 1979) was a Czechoslovak politician and military personnel. Born in Hroznatín, Czechoslovakia, Svoboda served in various military and political roles throughout his life. He passed away in Prague on 20 September 1979.

During his career, Svoboda received many prestigious awards, including the Medal "For the Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945", Order of Lenin, and Hero of the Soviet Union. Additionally, he was honored with the Order of the October Revolution, Order of the White Lion, Order of Klement Gottwald, and Hero of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic.
