Luis Corvalán

Luis Corvalán (1916-2010) was a Chilean politician, journalist, and teacher born in Puerto Montt. He held Chilean citizenship, and his career spanned several roles, including a politician, journalist, and teacher. Corvalán passed away in Santiago in 2010.

Throughout his life, Corvalán received numerous awards and distinctions. These included the Lenin Peace Prize, Order of Playa Girón, Order of Klement Gottwald, Order of the October Revolution, Order of Karl Marx, and the Order of Lenin.
