Maria Theresa was born on May 13, 1717, in Vienna, and held citizenship of Hungary. She was the head of the Austrian-Hungarian Empire and was part of the aristocracy and a politician. Maria Theresa's father was Charles VI, Holy Roman Emperor, and her mother was Elisabeth Christine of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel.
Maria Theresa had several children, including Marie Antoinette, Joseph II, Holy Roman Emperor, Leopold II, Holy Roman Emperor, Maria Carolina of Austria, and Maria Christina, Duchess of Teschen, among others.
She was the founder of Pinacoteca di Brera, an art gallery in Milan. During her reign, Maria Theresa held the position of a monarch. Maria Theresa died on November 29, 1780, in Vienna.
