Minden (investment vehicle)

Minden is the investment vehicle of Russian billionaire and oligarch Roman Abramovich. Minden is listed in the British Virgin Islands. Roman Abramovich is the owner of the Chelsea football club.

In 2013, through Minden, Abramovich invested £70 million in Truphone for a 23.3% stake in the company.

In October 2017, Minden participated in a venture funding round for Truphone, done as a rights issue, in which Minden and other existing shareholders were issued new shares at a special price. The round raised £255 million.

In October 2018, Minden participated in another rights issue funding round which raised a further £18 million for Truphone, which secured a further £36 million in conditional funding.
