Mo'Nique

Mo'Nique, born Monique Angela Imes, is an American actor, television producer, author, comedian, and producer. She was born on December 11, 1967, in Baltimore, and holds citizenship in the United States. Mo'Nique has had a notable career with her work in various films and television shows, such as "Precious" (2009), "Almost Christmas", "Steppin: The Movie", "Rugrats", and "Ugly Betty".

Mo'Nique received her education at Milford Mill Academy, Morgan State University, and the Broadcasting Institute of Maryland. Throughout her career, she has been recognized with numerous awards, including the BAFTA Award, African-American Film Critics Association, Alliance of Women Film Journalists EDA Award, and many others.
