Örebro University

Örebro University is a public educational institution located in Örebro, Sweden. Founded in 1977, the university is part of the European University Association and operates in the fields of education, higher education, and as a university.

The institution's motto is "Dulce est sapere", which translates to "It is pleasant to know". Örebro University is accredited by the Ministry of Education and Research of Sweden and the Swedish Higher Education Authority. Örebro University Hospital is a subsidiary of the university. In addition to being known as Örebro University, the institution is also referred to as Örebro universitet.
