Portugal will become the first European national team to launch a Fan Token to improve engagement with their fanbase.
The Portuguese Football Federation (FPF), in partnership with Chiliz, the leading global blockchain providers for the sports and entertainment industry, have announced that the $POR Fan Token Offering (FTO®) will take place on the Socios.com fan engagement and rewards app at 12:00 GMT +1 on Wednesday July 14th.
Fan Tokens are collectible digital assets, minted on the Chiliz blockchain, that provide owners with access to voting rights in polls, VIP rewards, exclusive promotions, AR-enabled features, chat forums, games and competitions on Socios.com.
