Sergei Aleksandrovich Strelnikov (born November 13, 1979) is a Ukrainian film actor who became famous for playing the title role in the biographical series The Passion for Chapay.
One of the recent works is the role in the TV series "Gunpowder and Shot" (2013), where Strelnikov played a young inexperienced captain, senior detective Viktor Chentsov. Colleagues in the film were Alexander Yatsko, Vadim Andreev, Boris Khvoshnyansky, Mikhail Khmurov, Vasily Shchipitsyn.
Then he participated in two projects, one of which is the series "The Trap" (premiered in 2013).
He is married and has a son, Sylvester.
The most striking work of Strelnikov to date was the main role in the historical series "Passion for Chapay" (2012), which tells both about the military exploits of the legendary red commander and about his personal life. Filming took place from September 2011 to January 2012 in Yaroslavl, Moscow, Kostroma, Tutaev, the village of Dievo-Gorodishche near Kiev. This series also starred Yulia Galkina, Yuri Baturin, Evgenia Lyutaya, Maxim Drozd, Fedor Leonov and Sofia Khilkova.
Most viewers remember this actor from the TV series directed by Valery Shalyga "1941" (2009), where Sergei played the wounded Red Army soldier Igor, cured by Alena, who later turns out to be a deserter and a traitor. After the release of the series, everyone noted the brilliant play of the actor: at the beginning of the project, his hero evokes compassion, and then, towards the end, sincere indignation.
Success for Sergei Strelnikov was participation in the project "It was in the Kuban" (2011). Here the actor got, albeit negative, but one of the main male roles, and Dmitry Dyuzhev and Ekaterina Vulichenko became his partners on the set.
Strelnikov played small roles in many TV series, including Poor Nastya (2003-2004), The Nine Lives of Nestor Makhno (2006), The Return of Mukhtar 2 (2005) and The Return of Mukhtar 3 (2006), The Devil from Orly. Angel from Orly" (2006), "Love on the pavement" (2008), "Sorcerer's love" (2008).

In 1996, after graduating from school, Sergei entered the Kiev School of Culture at the faculty of "director of mass actions", which he graduated with honors. After he entered the Kyiv National University of Theater, Film and Television named after I.K. Karpenko-Kary on the course of N. N. Rushkovsky. After graduating from the university, in 2003 he worked at the Youth Theater, and then at the Atelier 16 youth theater organized on the basis of the students of the course.
Strelnikov began acting in films in the early 2000s. In 2001, he played a small role in the Russian-Ukrainian TV series Bourgeois's Birthday 2 (2001), then appeared in the Ukrainian TV series Idlers (2002), European Convoy (2003). More noticeable was the role in the series "Guardian Angel", where Sergei played the policeman Kolya. His partners on the set were such well-known Russian and Ukrainian actors as Vladislav Demchenko, Daria Poverennova, Anatoly Rudenko, Viktor Verzhbitsky, Lev Durov, Alexei Panin and others.
At the age of two, the future actor and his parents moved to the city of Skvira, and six months later the family moved to the village of Stavische, Kiev region. Four years later, Sergei's father was appointed chief physician of the narcological dispensary at a brick factory in the village of Zhuravlikha in the same district, and the Strelnikovs, once again, changed their place of residence.
The first two classes Sergei studied at the Zhuravlikha rural school. After the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, in the village of Raskoshnoye, which was the outskirts of the district center, a village was built for the "Chernobyl victims", and Sergei's parents also received an apartment in it. In this village, Strelnikov graduated from 11 classes.
The actor's father died when he was 11 years old.
