Tatiana Eduardovna Kravchenko (by her stepfather - Yakovleva, at birth - Tatiana Vasilyevna Tokareva; born. December 9, 1953, Stalino) - Soviet and Russian theater and movie actress. Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1991), People's Artist of the Russian Federation (2002).
Biography
She was born in the city of Stalino (Ukrainian SSR), now Donetsk, Ukraine.
Tatyana's father - Vasily Dmitrievich Tokarev, died when she was 3 months old.
The girl was brought up by her mother - Emilia Ivanovna Karlash and her stepfather - Eduard Semyonovich Yakovlev.
In 1970 I finished Donetsk secondary school 20 and then gave documents for chemical faculty of Donetsk state university, but didn't pass in the competition.
In 1971 I went to Moscow to enter theatrical institute. At the first attempt I entered the Higher Theatrical School named after M.S. Schepkin. Shchepkin. A year later she noticed A. K. Tarasova and practically lured to the School-Studio of the Moscow Art Theatre, where Tatyana was enrolled immediately for the second course.
In 1976 she graduated from the Moscow Art Theatre School (course of Pavel Massalsky and Alla Tarasova). The graduation performance was attended by director Mark Zakharov, who immediately offered the young actress to join the Lenkom theater company headed by him.
At the same time, Oleg Yankovsky advised Tatiana to perform under another, less common surname, as there were so many actors and actresses "Yakovlev. She took the surname of her great-grandmother, and has since been known as Tatiana Kravchenko.
Her first role in the theater was in the play "My Hopes," based on the play by M. Shatrov, where Tatyana played the title role. The play was also played by the People's Artist of the USSR Tatyana Peltcer, with whom the young actress immediately developed a warm friendly relationship. Subsequently, Peltser took on the role of mentor and teacher Tatyana Kravchenko.

She is one of the leading actresses of the Lenkom Theatre, where she has played more than 30 roles in total. She works actively in non-repertory theatrical projects. Widely known for her numerous film roles. She has acted in more than one hundred and thirty films. The greatest fame among the mass audience got after the role of Valyukha (Valentina Petrovna Budko) in the TV series "Matchmakers".
In 2015, the actress was banned from entering Ukraine because she supported the annexation of Crimea to the Russian Federation and the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics in the armed conflict in eastern Ukraine.
