The Queen's Move" is an American drama mini-series,
based on the novel of the same name by Walter Tevis. Created by Scott Frank and Allan Scott, commissioned by Netflix. Premiered on Netflix took place October 23, 2020.
The project has become the most popular mini-series in
history Netflix. In the first four weeks it was watched by 62 million people. The series deservedly received universal
critical acclaim for its performance the main heroine played by Anya Taylor-Joy, as well as for the camerawork and the high quality staging. He also received flattering positive
feedback from the chess society and promoted the revival of the social public attention interest to the game.
"The Queen's Move" tells the story of chess prodigy orphan Beth Harmon, who aspires to become the world's greatest chess player, but also struggles with emotional problems and drug and alcohol addiction. The series, named in the original after her chess debut, begins in the mid-1950s and continues through the 1960s.
