Biography

Vasily Vakulento was born in the family of the military. He studied in a secondary school number 32 of Rostov-on-Don, in addition to this, engaged in a music school (where the grandmother was determined with the words: "You are tormented now, the granddaughter, play, and then grow up and you will use it") [10]. At the first time, I first tried to write rap, gathered my group. Entered the School for the Conducting Department, however, was deducted due to unsuitability. First successes

At the age of 16-17, he listened to many different music, he himself tried to read rap. In 1997, he became a member of the Psycholirik group, which in 1999 was transformed into Kasta. Vakulento became known as Basta Hrew (initially, just Hrew [2]). His first song "City" entered the album "First Punch" of the Psycholirik group. From this point on, Basta is an active participant in the Rostov rap movement; At the same time, it moves in its direction, more lyric and melodic [10].

In the texts of the project songs there are serious topics with a special sound and a special manner of performance [13]. The musical component is formed from the synthesis of breakbone, techno, electronic samples and a peculiar southern style of hip-hop (trape). The reason for the name of the project was the translation of the word "nin-ten-do" from Japanese, broken down in syllables, which means "We carry out our work qualitatively and waiting for the results."

On September 1, 2009, the second album Noggano came out. In the first week, the record was taken by the 1st place of the Russian sales chart [14].

In the spring of 2010, Basta releases the third solo album, and on November 10, a joint work appears with the Moscow Rapper Guf.

2011-2014

In January 2011, the album "Eye" of the Side Project of the eponymous project was released, the participants of which do not endure the covers - but not too much and are conspired: they consisted Basta, coupe and 5 pluves. Also in 2011, Vasily Vakulento begins work on a new electronic project titled Bratia Stereo. The project also participates a coupe and many other musicians who play Mix from Haus, Dabstepa, minimal, techno, hip-hop, rock and other various musical directions.
