The Russian Surfing Federation (RSF) was founded in 2008.

All-Russian Public Organization "Russian Surfing Federation" is a voluntary association of citizens, created for the joint implementation of programs aimed at the development, promotion and popularization of surfing, increasing the role of physical culture and sport in the comprehensive and harmonious development of personality, strengthening the position and enhancing the prestige of Russian sport. The RSF department includes such water disciplines as classic surfing, wakesurfing and paddle surfing.

Thanks to the work of the RSF in 2015, surfing received official recognition in Russia and was included in the register of sports of the Russian Federation. RSF carries out its activities on the territory of the Russian Federation, where structural regional divisions have been established. The permanent governing body is based in Moscow.

The Russian Surfing Federation has a Board of Trustees, which is an advisory body created to fully support the activities of the Federation, for the development, promotion and popularization of surfing in Russia, the Board acts on the basis of the Statute of the Federation and the Provision on the Board of Trustees.

РФС осуществляет свою деятельность на территории Российской Федерации, где созданы структурные региональные подразделения. Постоянно действующий руководящий орган базируется в Москве.

В Российской Федерации Серфинга существует Попечительский совет, который является консультативным органом, созданным с целью всемерной поддержки деятельности Федерации, в целях развития, пропаганды и популяризации серфинга в России, Совет действует на основании Устава Федерации и Положения о попечительском совете.

Нашей целью является развитие сёрфинга в России посредством организации соответствующих спортивных мероприятий и информационного наполнения медиа-пространства.
