The command
TradingView was founded in 2011 by Konstantin Ivanov (CTO), Denis Globa (CEO) and Stan Bokov (COO). Together with Andrey Kirillov (CFO), they make up the TradingView executive team. TradingView is headquartered in New York, and the company also has development offices in Rostov-on-Don, St. Petersburg [4] and Moscow. The head office for the European market is located in London.
History
TradingView was launched in September 2011. The main idea was to help users around the world better understand the financial markets by discussing investment ideas in an open area.
In the summer of 2013, the project was selected for the startup accelerator Techstars [5] , where it signed contracts with Microsoft and CME [6] . The company later received $3.6 million in funding from iTech Capital and other investors (TechStars, Right Side Capital Management, Irish Angels) [7] .
In May 2017, TradingView was recognized as the best analytical platform according to the Benzinga Global Fintech Awards 2017 [8] .
In May 2018, the company closed another round of venture investments for $37 million from Insight Venture Partners, DRW Venture Capital and Jump Capital [9] .
In October 2021, as part of the next round of financing, TradingView was valued at $3 billion and raised an additional $298 million from investors, including the investment fund Tiger Global Management [10] .
