Lakawon Island is the place to be!
From Bacolod City, head to Bacolod North Bus Terminal and ride a Ceres bus going to Cadiz City, Sagay, Toboso or Escalante.
Tell the bus conductor or driver that you are going to Lakawon and ask to be dropped at either Martisan Crossing or Burgos Bus Terminal. Travel time is about 1.5 hours.
Once you have arrived at Martisan Crossing/Burgos Bus Terminal, take a tricycle to Lakawon Port. Travel time is about 15-20 minutes.
Lakawon Island is also cashless, and they will provide you a cash card (in exchange for your cash of course) that you will use for all your expenses in the island. If you do not use up the cash card, it is also refundable.
