According to the Recording Industry Association of America, Destiny's Child has sold over 100 million records in the United States, and they have become the most popular and successful female group of all time according to the World Music Awards. Billboard magazine named the band one of the greatest musical trios of all time.
The Pussycat Dolls (PCD acronym) is an American pop/R&B dance group with female vocals, founded by choreographer Robin Antin in 1995 as a burlesque dance troupe based in Los Angeles. After attracting national attention, Antin eventually negotiated a deal with record label Interscope Records in 2003, making the group a musical franchise. Since then, the band has gained a global image and commercial brand under the guidance of Antin, Interscope and various partners. They have appeared in reality TV shows, Las Vegas shows, and commercials.
