About Ionera
Ionera is a spin-off project from the University of Freiburg, Germany and was founded in 2014.
Ionera is commercializing a proprietary Multielectrode Cavity Array (MECA) technology for parallel bilayer recording.
This technology has been jointly developed in the labs of Prof. Dr. Jan C. Behrends (Department of Physiology) and Prof. Dr. Jürgen Rühe (Department of Microsystems Technology) of the University of Freiburg.
Ionera's MECA products have successfully been used to study a whole range of channel forming entities.
Our MECA technology combines a reliable and simple membrane formation with the flexibility to employ all common reconstitution techniques.
While each single case requires special conditions for the perfect recording, the result is always the same:
MECA users get high quality in a fast and reliable manner!
Reconstitution via detergent dilution (e.g. bacterial porins, VDAC)
Beta-barrel membrane proteins, such as bacterial porins solubilized in non-ionic detergents can be directly incorporated into a bilayer array from detergent micelles. Predilution of the purified protein sample in detergent in concentration close to the detergents CMC followed by rapid dilution into the recording chamber results in incorporation of proteins into membranes. Concentration of the protein stock solution and dilution factor must be optimized to improve the rate of single channel insertions and minimize influence of the detergent on the membrane.
Fusion of proteoliposomes and native membrane vesicles
For electrophysiological recordings ion channels may be reconstituted from unilamellar proteoliposomes or native membrane vesicles which are fused with the planar bilayers. Osmotically induced swelling of the proteoliposomes or native membrane vesicles in immediate proximity of the lipid bilayer, as well as presence of charged lipids facilitate the protein incorporation.
Transfer from Nanodiscs
Ion channels can be transferred from nanodiscs into lipid bilayers on the MECA chip.
Lipids and lipid mixtures tested for bilayer formation
We have used and tested various lipids and lipid mixtures for bilayer formation on the MECA4 and MECA16 chips.
Recommended lipids:
DPhPC*
POPC*
DOPC*
Asolectin*
eggPC*
oxidized cholesterol
*Up to 30% cholesterol or ergosterol can be added
Lipid mixtures:
POPE:POPG (3:1)
POPE:POPS 1:1
POPC:POPE:POPG (or POPS)
DPhPC:DPhPC-NTA (3%):DPhPhosphate(10%)
DPhPC:DOTAP
POPE:POPG:TDM
Note: 1-palmitoyl-2-oleoyl-(PO) can be substituted by 1,2-dioleoyl (DO) (and vice versa)
Ionera's mission is to provide a universal platform for ion-conductance based analytics, including development and customized design of MECA-chips, nanopore and channel protein reconstitution kits and assay development.

The MARCON LLC company has been operating in the Russian catering market since 1993 and became the first Russian fast food chain outside the home. Today we are the leading operator in the fast food street catering segment.
“QUICK. CONVENIENT. YUMMY"
The company specializes in the sale of high-quality hot dogs and sandwiches from raw materials of a high degree of readiness and according to Premium quality standards. Cooked on modern equipment, which is equipped with all outlets, in compliance with the most stringent sanitary requirements.
HISTORY OF THE COMPANY
1993. The development of the kiosk network began in 1993 under the name "Steff" and met all European standards, as it was based on the Danish concept.
In 2004, a rebranding was carried out.
The network began to bear the name "Stardog!s", the number of outlets increased significantly, new formats appeared. The basis of the concept is the unique taste, speed of preparation and convenience of packaging. And the brand "Stardog!s" means a whole range of services provided to our customers: tasty, fast, high quality, with a smile.
In 2006, the company opened the first cafe of the new network, combining elements of a restaurant, cafe, bakery and confectionery in a modern new form - Bagetteria. The main product of the cafe is hot and cold baguettes prepared using the freshest ingredients.
from raw materials of a high degree of readiness according to the quality standards of the premium class. The new concept is aimed at young, dynamically developing people who value their time.
2013. In Moscow and the Moscow region, the franchise network has more than 450 outlets. The number of objects in the regions also begins to grow rapidly and by the end of the year it is 270 retail objects in 20 regions.
2015. The number of franchise facilities is more than 800 retail facilities, almost 400 of which are located in the regions. TM Stardog!s for December, 2015 is presented in 27 regions of Russia.
2018. At the end of 2018, more than 1,200 outlets were opened.

1. General information
Established on October 29, 2003. Registered by the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation on December 15, 2003 (No. 4303). In 2004, the Company was named after Yu.A. Ovchinnikov. As of January 1, 2019, the Society has 3025 members, has 59 regional branches in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation. Membership in OBR is free for individuals.
President-Chairman of the Central Board of the Society — R.G. Vasilov.
2. Purpose of the Society
Consolidation of the Russian scientific and expert community in the field of biotechnology to form and support initiatives, create conditions and a favorable environment for the development of biotechnology, ensure interaction with state and administrative bodies, as well as with the general public in order to develop optimal laws and decisions, develop and implement programs and projects aimed at building a “knowledge economy” – a bioeconomy aimed at innovative socio-economic development in harmony with nature.
3. Activities
Currently, OBR is working on a number of topical commercial projects in the field of biopharmaceutics and biomedicine, food biotechnology, bioenergy, and ecology. At the same time, it is obvious that the huge potential existing in Russia in the development of the biotechnological industry and entrepreneurship has not yet been realized. In this regard, OBR has begun work on creating a network of regional biotechnology clusters (Kirov region, Krasnoyarsk region) and the formation of bioregions (Vologda region).
The activities of the Society are carried out in close contact with the State Duma of the Russian Federation, relevant ministries and departments. For the period 2003-2019 OBR held over 120 events at the federal, regional and international levels, including 9 congresses, 15 round tables and Parliamentary hearings in the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, 57 congresses, scientific and practical conferences and symposiums. About 20 works on biotechnology have been published. Since 2005, the journal Bulletin of Biotechnology and Physico-Chemical Biology named after V.I. Yu.A. Ovchinnikov, included in the list of peer-reviewed journals of the Higher Attestation Commission. Since 2005, a competition for young scientists has been held, for the winners of which the Yu.A. Ovchinnikov. With the support of the OBR, the School of Biotechnology and Physical and Chemical Biology is held annually (organized by the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry named after Academicians M.M. Shemyakin and Yu.A. Ovchinnikov).

The Roadmap includes a set of measures to use information modeling (BIM) technologies in the design and construction of capital construction projects, as well as to stimulate the use of energy-efficient and environmentally friendly materials, including taking into account the need for their production in the Russian Federation.
The action plan, among other things, provides for the preparation of proposals for the creation of a system to stimulate the production of new energy-efficient building materials, as well as the definition of measures to support manufacturers and government customers aimed at encouraging developers and technical customers to use environmentally friendly and highly energy efficient building materials and renewable energy sources, as part of the decarbonization of the Russian economy.
In addition, it is planned to prepare proposals that provide for the publication of information on the specific consumption of resources for heating buildings and the assigned energy efficiency classes of multi-apartment residential buildings on the portal of the GIS housing and communal services.
