Quartz is a business-focused English-language international news organization, it launched from New York City in 2012, and is owned by Japanese business media company Uzabase (Japanese: ユーザベース). It operates editions globally, outside of the United States and Japan, including in the United Arab Emirates, Hong Kong, Africa, and India.
