OpenLuna Gemini Mission 1 is an unmanned mission planned by OpenLuna with the cooperation of the PocketQub project with support from Professor Bob Twiggs at Morehead State University Space Science Center in Kentucky. Originally, it was planned as a cooperative mission between OpenLuna and Micro-Space of Denver, Colorado. However, with the recent passing of Richard SpeckRichard Speck, Mission 1 was revised to an effort to preserve his work and vision of tiny satellites operating in space. Mission 1 has been combined with the Launch Team which does not have a definite schedule.

OpenLuna is run by the OpenLuna Foundation, which was founded to set foot on the moon through private enterprise since the Apollo programApollo program in the late 1960s through the 1970s. OpenLuna is part of the emerging new-space industry, which is one of the few growing industries in the current economy.

Between 2017 and 2018, Dentacoin has established partnerships with Arklign, a digital lab partner in San Jose, CaliforniaSan Jose, California; PCP Dental Recruitment in London, UK; Bredent dental implant manufacturer from Germany, Dentamed, Floss Bar, NY, USA, Mobident, India and others.

Bitmixer operated with its own large reserve of bitcoinsbitcoins which allows it to facilitate a high volume mixing service, though all data was handled centrally through BitMixer servers, putting privacy at risk. Activity was postponed on July 24, 2017 due to a change in the owner's ideology; they stated that they wanted "to make (the) Bitcoin ecosystem more clean"; though some have speculated that this is due to government pressure.
