Gianni LanciaGianni Lancia (16 November 1924 – 30 June 2014) was an Italian automobile engineer, industrialist and racing enthusiast, known for running the Lancia carmaker in Turin (1949–55). Born in Fobello (near Biella), he was the older son of Vincenzo Lancia and Adele Miglietti, and brother of Anna Maria and Eleonora.
After his father's death (1937), the young Gianni Lancia took over the family business. Lancia's racing enthusiasm brought him to hire famed engineer and designer Vittorio Jano in 1945. In 1954 Lancia decided to try his luck in the newly-born Formula One world championship and scored a coup when he managed to lure away Alberto Ascari from Scuderia Ferrari. Despite Ascari winning the 1954 Mille Miglia, poor racing results, coupled with Lancia's ambitious plan to put in production several expensive racing prototypes led the company to near-bankruptcy.
He died on 30 June 2014 in Turin.
Maxie RosenbloomMax Everitt Rosenbloom (November 1, 1907 – March 6, 1976) was an American professional boxer, actor, and television personality. Nicknamed “Slapsie Maxie”, he was inducted into The Ring's Boxing Hall of Fame in 1972, the International Jewish Sports Hall of Fame in 1984, the World Boxing Hall of Fame in 1985, and the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 1993. He was sometimes billed as Slapsie Maxie Rosenbloom for film appearances.
Born in Leonard Bridge, Connecticut, Rosenbloom was nicknamed "Slapsie Maxie" by a journalist due to his open-gloved style of boxing. As a professional boxer, Rosenbloom relied on hitting and moving to score points. He was very difficult to hit cleanly with a power punch and his fights often went the full number of required rounds. In his boxing career, he received thousands of punches to the head, which eventually led to the deterioration of his motor functions.

Unione Cestistica Casalpusterlengo, also known as U.C.C. and Assigeco Casalpusterlengo, is an Italian professional basketball club base in Codogno, Lombardy.
The team was founded in 1977 by Franco Curioni, who remains its president to this day. In 2004 Casalpusterlengo reached the third division Serie B1. Five years later the team was promoted to the professional LegaDue, playing two seasons before withdrawing in 2011 due to financial difficulties.
In order to comply with the league's capacity regulations during the years it played in LegaDue, its home arena was PalaCastellotti in Lodi.
