So called East gate of the city. Everyday thousand of people come to the city via Sayahat and move back.
The first intercity bus station, on the site of which Sayakhat was subsequently built, opened in 1967 and served routes connecting the city with regional centers east of Almaty. Built in the early 1980s. the bus station "Sairan" worked with republican and international directions. The bus station "Sayahat" at the time of construction served as a kind of eastern gate to the city.
