100 Thieves is an esports and gaming lifestyle company that is headquartered in Los Angeles, California and was founded in 2017 by Mathew Haag.
On October 23, 2018, 100 Thieves completed their series A funding round with funding from Drake (lead investor), Scooter Braun (lead investor), Sequoia Capital, WndrCo, Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff, Tao Capital, Green Bay Ventures, and Advancit CapitalSeries B. Drake and Scooter Braun will act as strategic advisors for the company and Scooter Braun joined the companies board of directors. The series A funding round brings the companies funding to date to $25 million. Previous investors in 100 Thieves series A funding round include: Cleveland Cavaliers and Quicken Loans chairman Dan Gilbert, Sequoia, Ludlow Ventures, Courtside Ventures, WndrCo, Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff, Dropbox CEO Drew Houston, Green Bay Ventures, Tao Capital, and Advancit Capital.
On July 16, 2019 100 Thieves completed their series B funding round with $35 million in funding from Artist Capital Management. At the time of raising their series B funding 100 Thieves had a post-funding valuation of $160 million. The company plans on using their series B funding to expand its operations in new esports titles and to build a new facility in Los Angeles, California for esports, content creation, and the operation of its apparel division.
