10100 (pronounced "ten-one-hundred") is a venture capital firm founded by Travis Kalanick. In March 2018, 10100 took $150m in funding from Uber founder Travis Kalanick and reported to have 15 employees in total. Kalanick used money he obtained from selling his Uber shares to start 10100. According to the companies website their investment strategy is focused on 'large scale job creation' through investing in real estate, e-commerce, and innovative companies in China and India. The company also claims it will be making non-profit efforts to in the education sector and in the future of cities.
10100 entered into an agreement to acquire a controlling interest in CSS (City Storage Systems), which is a holding company focused on redevelopment of "distressed" real estate assets. CSS has focused on areas of parking, retail and industrial and owns companies CloudKitchens and CloudRetail. Travis Kalanick will be CEO of CSS once the acquisition transaction is complete. Before acquiring CSS the company was owned by one of Travis Kalanick's best friends named Diego Dayton.
