PROFILE & HISTORY:
Dan Bunkering supplies bunker fuel, lubricants and related products and services to ships worldwide. Their geographic reach and in-depth local knowledge make them considered a global, yet local supplier of bunker fuel.
Since its founding in 1981, Dan-Bunkering has been a pioneer in the bunkering business. The first few chapters were a story of success and growth, and the company quickly became one of the world's leading bunkering companies.
Dan-Bunkering's history begins in 1876 when Julius Mortensen Shipping was founded in Fredericia, Denmark. Almost 100 years later - in 1974 - the company bought a local shipping company and changed its name to H. Sommers Eftf. Shipping ApS. Shortly thereafter, the company switched from shipping to bunkering fuel and petroleum products. By 1981 the bunkering business was spun off into a separate company, Dan-Bunkering ApS. Three years later the bunkering company was transformed into A/S Dan-Bunkering Ltd.
SERVICES & SOLUTIONS:
A/S Dan-Bunkering Ltd. offers all grades of fuel and gas oil, any marine lube oil quantities: in bulk, drums, pails, cans, cartridges etc. New fuels: LNG, Biofuel, alternative fuels.
In addition to bunkering A/S Dan-Bunkering Ltd. provides services for ships worldwide, such as
Bunker Risks Management, Turnkey fuel Solutions, Yachts, Tools and specifications, IMO2020, and other Vessel Services.
