Applied Technology Associates (ATA) proposes a cost-effective solution by developing a robust effective military position, navigation, and timing (PNT) capability with the addition of a military-unique augmentation to GPS.The Military PNT Augmentation (MPNTA) Phase II effort will include the use of Electronic Warfare (EW) techniques (frequency hopping, frequency shift from GPS, wartime reserve, etc.) which will lead to an effective lower system cost, with improved capability versus simply increasing the GPS signal. The exploitation of the Doppler signal from a LEO spacecraft will enable leverage of huge commercial new-space investments
