ACME Capital, previously Sherpa Capital, is a venture capital firm investing in founders in massive markets. It prefers to invest in the software, 3d printing, consumer commerce, pharmacy and healthcare sectors. The firm was founded in 2013 and is based in San Francisco, California.
Sherpa Capital renamed to ACME Capital in early 2019. The change of name came after co-founder Shervin Pishevar left after allegations of misconduct, which he denied and the addition of GGV Capital co-founder Hany Nada.
ACME Capital investments include Yosemite Clinic, quip, Brandless, The Block, Cue, Doctor On Demand, Owl Cameras, Luka, Fair, Carrot Fertility and Shogun Enterprises.
They exited their investments in Uber, Luxe, Beepi, Reserve, Housepart, Fab, DogVacay, Rise, Pillow, Walker & Company Brands, Cymmetria and Mattermark.
