When ALICE began we thought that a guest-facing solution was the problem to solving. But THAT was less than 10% of the problem.
THE MAIN PROBLEM
So we re-imagined, revised, rebuilt. We quickly realized that the problem hotels faced wasn’t just getting guest requests, but fulfilling guest requests.
THE REPETITION YEARS
A big part of ALICE’s growth has been just convincing hotels to embrace technology: “ALICE is better than paper and radios”. But hotels stick with what works, and darn it, paper works. Poorly. But it works.
THE ALICE PLATFORM
Then one day we finally had a platform.We thought we had a better way. We built it, then rebuilt it, then re-examined and listened harder and rebuilt it again
THE ROAD'S BEEN TWISTY
And what we’ve learned is that the biggest part of what works it's us. Our small mishmash of oddball players grew into a team, and then departments, which blossomed into a company and MAYBE, we’ve become an extended family.
LOOKING FORWARD
We’ve turned the page from being pirates. Now we are a fleet of ships. Perhaps one day, the Navy. All of the external challenges of product differentiation, market leadership, size, competitors, and customer success are ours to confront.
