ATA Airlines

ATA Airlines, Inc., formerly known as American Trans Air and Ambassadair, was an American airline company. It was founded in February 1973 by J. George Mikelsons. The company's headquarters were located in Indianapolis, United States.

ATA Airlines employed 284 individuals, falling within the 250-499 range of employees, as per their prototype. J. George Mikelsons, the founder, was also one of the key people involved in the airline's operations.

Southwest Airlines held a parent organization role for ATA Airlines.
