The Monarch Platform is the first robotics platform cleared by the Federal Drug Administration and is designed for diagnostic and therapeutic bronchoscopic procedures. The platform is designed to be used by physicians to access small and hard-to-reach lung nodules for early diagnoses and targeted treatment of lung cancer. The endoscope itself is designed for greater reach and control and can be used via a controller interface, which the physician uses to navigate the periphery of the lungs. The platform can give 3D visuals of the patient's lungs so that physicians can have more access to the entirety of the organ.
The Monarch Platform has received several awards, including the Red Dot Award for best of the best product design, where the product was tested in various categories such a longevity and functionality.
