History of Adidas
Initially, Dassler began to manufacture and sell sports shoes in 1924 under the paid name of Gebrüder Dassler Schuhfabrik, together with his own brother Rudolf Dassler. Subsequently, such as the long-standing hostility between them reached the limit, the firm split in 1947.
In 1949, Adolf started his own fresh business, Adi Dassler adidas Sportschuhfabrik, later known as Adidas.
In 1948, Rudolph began to discover a business called Ruda, which later became popular as Puma. This caused a perpetual feud between the 2 brothers and the enterprises, to the point of limiting, in fact, that the brands became easy entry points between Herzogenaurach's residents. In 1949, Adolf Dassler patented a shoe with a design of three slanted stripes that would later become the company's logo. In 1972, Adidas released a new logo, the trefoil.
